Retail Security
Customer service and conflict management are key areas when dealing with Retail Security at Squad Security. We also realise the importance of knowledge. We go to great lengths to ensure that our guards are confident in their own ability, their responsibilities in gathering evidence and the manner in which they go about their duties.
"The security officer of today as well as having the necessary SIA qualification needs to be increasingly aware of their responsibilities to our clients. They have to be confident through the training we provide of their actions in detecting and preventing crime in a customer friendly environment."
Simon Bailey, Director of Operations
We currently undertake Retail Security assignments throughout the United Kingdom and Europe. We write assignment instructions, specific to each site, in conjunction with local management. Each client determines the uniform that our guards will wear to maintain their company profile.
We run our own induction programme for new staff to ensure that staff are proactive in helping you prevent stock loss and ensure a safe working environment.
Depending on the size of the requirement Security Officers will have a designated supervisor in charge of the day-to-day guarding. A contract manager will be responsible for maintaining standards and managing the expectations of the client. A deputy will also be nominated so that at all times a management representative is available to deal with any issues that arise.
Performance figures detailing arrests, deters and all incidents are standard by all guards.
